WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol, commonly referred to as “CBD” is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid produced by hemp and cannabis plants. CBD is one of hundreds of known cannabinoids and can be starkly contrasted with tetrahydrocannabinol or “THC” which is known for its psychoactive effects. Research suggests the most common uses for CBD include; pain, anxiety, stress and sleep but there are countless others.

WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?

The most popular cannabinoids include CBD, THC and CBG but there are hundreds more. Cannabinoids are compounds that are synthesized by the cannabis or hemp plant. Cannabinoids interact with the endocannabinoid system within the human body.

WHAT IS BROAD SPECTRUM CBD OIL?

Broad spectrum CBD oil includes many additional compounds but has the THC has been completely removed. Athletes for example subject to testing requirements can look to Broad spectrum CBD products.

WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM CBD OIL?

Full spectrum CBD oil includes all of the compounds produced by the cannabis or hemp plant. This means that full spectrum CBD products have more terpenes (aromas) and other constituents within the oil than broad spectrum and CBD isolates. Full Spectrum CBD Oil products are increasingly popular as consumers tend to want experience the full benefits of the plant and its entourage effect.

WHAT IS CBD ISOLATE?

CBD Isolate products contain only CBD and have all other terpenes and constituents removed.
