1. Drake - Canadian Rapper

Aubrey Graham, more commonly known as Drake, is one of the world’s most prominent rappers and artists - he is also a not-so-humble Toronto Raptors fan. What most people don’t know is that Drake is also a huge CBD advocate. In fact, in 2017 Drake founded his own Hemp and Cannabis called More Life Growth Company (MLGC) based in Canada. What stands out about Drake’s foray into the hemp industry is that he partnered with the world’s largest cannabis company, Canopy Growth, to launch MLGC. In the future, Drake plans to expand into every vertical of the consumer cannabis business including clothing, flower, rolling papers and herbal products. We can expect to see MLGC at the forefront of the CBD industry for years to come.

 2. Rogen - Canadian Comedian and Actor

Seth Rogen, another Canadian on our list, has become a world-famous comedian and actor over the past decade. Rogen has been a vocal cannabis and CBD advocate for years and has also founded his own entrepreneurial venture in the industry. Houseplant, Seth’s cannabis company, has exploded to become one of the most well-known THC and CBD brands in North America, and he is using this notoriety to expand his voice for global cannabis legalization. Additionally, Rogen founded Hilarity for Charity which spreads awareness and raises money for Alzheimer's research. The charity has vocally encouraged CBD oil as a potential treatment and, at the very least, a focal point of research for people with Alzheimer’s.

3. Rob Gronkowski - American Football Player

Rob Gronkowski, one of the National Football League’s most prolific players in recent years stepped away from football in early 2019. Among other things, the pain, injuries and discomfort that his body underwent during his years left him feeling like he had forgotten his passion for the game. However, Rob found that after his retirement CBD drastically helped him manage the ongoing pain he was experiencing. In fact, he partnered with a leading CBD company, CBDMedic. In an interview with CNBC, Rob explained that “I’ve been hearing a lot about [CBD], starting this year … My first true experience with it — when I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, this stuff works! I throw the [CBDMedic] cream on and, boom, it temporarily relieved the pain.” Needless to say, Rob has clearly seen benefits from CBD. Perhaps so much so that he has announced that he will actually be returning to football.

In 2019, Martha Stewart announced that she was launching her very own CBD line. Martha’s partnership, like Drake, was with Canopy Growth Corp. and was looking into creating products for people and their pets. Stewart has always been an innovator, and her experience in the food industry will potentially lead to some exciting new CBD concepts and products.

Kristen has recently partnered with Lord Jones to launch a CBD skin care line called Happy Dance. According to Refinery29 Bell states "I first discovered Lord Jones CBD products two years ago and have been using them ever since," Bell says in the press release. "I was skeptical at first, but was quickly blown away by the quality, integrity, and consistency in all of the products. When I met Lord Jones founders Rob [Rosenheck] and Cindy [Capobianco], we aligned on a shared desire to make a CBD line that would be accessible to a wider audience at a lower price point while maintaining the same trusted quality as the Lord Jones brand." We look forward to learning more about Happy Dance in the coming months.

Kim Kardashian has been very public in her belief in the benefits of CBD. For example, she hosted a CBD-themed baby shower that gained significant traction in both the media and across her enormous social media following. According to Variety “When chatting up her wellness addiction with The Daily Mail, the multitasking mother of four said: "How do I do it all? It is exhausting. I just say CBD. [laughs] But I do. It's gotten me through a lot." She added that she's "Not a weed smoker at all. That's not my thing. I got into CBD a few months ago. It's saved my life. Even to sleep at night. I like the gummies. I will just use a little bit and fall asleep." We would not be surprised given Kim’s public endorsement of CBD and the benefits she has experienced translate into her own CBD line in the future.
